The Language Academy

The Language Academy is a platform for online courses developed by UvA Talen, the University of Amsterdam's independent academic language center. The Language Academy offers complete online courses that introduce you to a new language in a dynamic way. The lessons are constructed around four young professionals from Amsterdam who draw you into everyday situations. Accompanying conversations, exercises and videos allow you to learn sentences and idiom which you can immediately put into practice. The course range is expanding quickly.
