Chicago for Chicagoans is a pay-what-you-can walking tour nonprofit, designed to give locals a fresh perspective on their Chicago neighborhoods. We collaborate with residents & empower them to share the history of their city with their own neighbors. Each month, a new walking tour takes place in a different Chicago neighborhood. Tours run about 2 hours, and the meeting location varies. There are no fees upfront for the tours, but we suggest a $10-20 tip if you're able! All tours end at a local restaurant, where participants are encouraged to enjoy a meal with the group. We partner with small businesses & cultural destinations, and encourage everyone to explore, connect with, and enrich their own communities.
