CommuniCare, Inc. is a well established local non-profit organization with more than 17 years of experience. Under the leadership of county management staff, CommuniCare, Inc. was created in 1998 to establish a private non-profit agency to develop quality driven prevention and intervention services for at-risk and court involved youth. Our agency provides programming, treatment and other resources that decrease secure confinements and further involvement in the juvenile court system. CommuniCare, Inc. has built a successful relationship based upon its program structure as well as the staff's abilities to provide superior project management in a myriad of areas including project and program development, oversight, financial planning/management and evidence based monitoring and evaluation activities. We provide: • Case management services • Comprehensive clinical assessments to diagnose substance abuse and mental health disorders • Basic/Intensive Outpatient substance abuse treatment/Mental Health Treatment • Clinical counseling/ Home Based Clinical Counseling • Psychological Testing/ Forensic Competency Evaluations • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy- NC Child Treatment Program "rostered" • Suicide screenings and clinical counseling for youth in the juvenile detention center • Youth gang case management • Strengthening Families Program ® and parent-child communication training Selected/Indicated Prevention work • Youth leadership skill development via our Teens Making A Change (T-MAC) Youth Leadership collaboration.
