The Windsor story began in 1984 when managing director Peter Hickmott was trying to source a handle he'd envisioned for his front door. Unable to find the perfect fit, Peter decided to employ some good old Kiwi know-how and do it himself. Using quality componentry and superior materials the result was a product that not only looked good but was built to last. And thus Windsor was born.
