nTelos Wireless was a leading provider of wireless communications services to consumers and businesses in select areas of Virginia, West Virginia and portions of Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania. It was the 9th largest provider of wireless broadband in the U.S. On May 6, 2016, Shentel announced the completed transaction to acquire nTelos Wireless. nTelos customers were transitioned to Sprint, and stores re-branded from nTelos to Sprint. FRAWG Wireless customers were migrated over to Sprint's pre-paid brand, Boost Mobile. Sprint, through Shentel, is now the new, trusted wireless provider for nTelos customers.
