JASTEC Co., Ltd was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1971 by a young entrepreneurial systems engineer named Shigeru Kamiyama and his colleagues. Their mission was to create a company that would offer services and solutions to remedy the needs of the chaotic software industry in Japan. JASTEC achieved CMMI level-5 for the entire organization in 2003. In accordance with our strategic initiative to expand internationally,in March 2005 JASTEC acquired, through JASTEC International, Inc., our wholly-owned subsidiary in the United States, 100% of the shares of LTU Technologies S.A.S. in France and LTU Technologies Inc., LTU's subsidiary in the United States.
