We want customers to be able to shop with confidence on Amazon. For certain products and categories, Amazon might requires sellers to obtain approval before listing products for sale. The approval process may include additional fees, performance checks, and other qualifications.

Specific products and categories that require approval

You are required to obtain approval from Amazon before listing any of the specific products or categories of products listed below. Follow the link for more information about the approval requirements and process.

Note: If you are approved to sell in this category, you will need to upgrade to a Professional Selling plan with a monthly subscription fee.

You must list products in the appropriate product categories. Collectibles such as stamps are available in the Everything Else category. Be sure to list products that matches an existing product page rather than listing in the Everything Else category.

Other approval requirements

Sellers may be required to meet additional qualifications to sell certain brands or list within certain categories even if they are not listed above. If you attempt to list one of these products, you will see a notice stating Listing limitations apply.
