Rahavaran Fonoon Petrochemical Company (RFPC) was established in December 1998 based on the policies of the National Petrochemical Company aimed at promoting training activities to improve the level of education of employees and the training of new hires.
RFPC was established as a private joint company based on a consortium agreement between German companies GTZ-ABB, under the supervision and guidance of the National Petrochemical Company, with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of employee training through the purchase and installation of the latest educational equipment from Germany. At the same time, training of instructors was also conducted outside the country to set up and operate workshops.
Until now, this company has trained nearly 14,000 trainees for the petrochemical industry and various oil, gas, and refining sectors and annually provides more than 100,000 hours of training to the oil industry workforce. RFPC, in addition to training industrial experts in Iraq and Malaysia, has conducted various training courses and visited modern industries and technologies in Europe and Asia, including Spain, Germany, Austria, Holland, Turkey, Malaysia, the UAE, South Africa, etc., with the help of well-known international academics. In pursuit of its main mission to solve challenges and support the elimination of company problems and the development of advisory activities, the company has selected the most experienced advisors in the country in specialized fields such as research and marketing, energy consumption optimization, strategic and future studies, excellence, quality and management standards, financial and economic studies, comprehensive maintenance and productivity, design and projects, HSE, human resources, psychology, and carbon management, as its business partner, to provide advisory services to the petrochemical industry.
