Rahavaran Fonoon Petrochemical Company (RFPC) was established in December 1998 based on the policies of the National Petrochemical Company aimed at promoting training activities to improve the level of education of employees and the training of new hires. RFPC was established as a private joint company based on a consortium agreement between German companies GTZ-ABB, under the supervision and guidance of the National Petrochemical Company, with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of employee training through the purchase and installation of the latest educational equipment from Germany. At the same time, training of instructors was also conducted outside the country to set up and operate workshops. Until now, this company has trained nearly 14,000 trainees for the petrochemical industry and various oil, gas, and refining sectors and annually provides more than 100,000 hours of training to the oil industry workforce.
