Aradhya Steel Group was founded in 1971 by Mr. IM Aradhya after his engineering along with his brothers with a borrowed start-up capital of Rs. 5000 (~USD 100). The brothers' first venture was into manufacture of hardware products. Wire manufacturing began as a backward-integrated project from nails and subsequently expanded into high carbon steel wires and wire ropes.
