Permoseal was established in 1949 and has maintained a solid reputation as a leading manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of adhesives, sealants and DIY products for general and specialised applications in the consumer, construction and industrial markets throughout the African continent. Permoseal was the first company to launch Cold Glue to the South African market in 1954 and in 1963 Permoseal concluded a licensing agreement with Ebnother of Switzerland to begin local manufacturing. Permoseal boasts advanced adhesive laboratory facilities, with quality control being of the highest standard. Ongoing research and development is always a top priority, and has resulted in the regular launch of new products in both the industrial and consumer markets. Permoseal was the first chemical company in Africa to be awarded the coveted ISO 9001 quality management system accreditation.
